I'm not sure if this has already been noted.

The settings page for adsense is unreachable, when viewing the settings page it displays this error message.

adsense settings inaccessible: module needs updating because the _settings hook has been deprecated.

You are using Drupal CVS and Adsense is not yet updated for 4.8/5.0.

Use Drupal 4.7 with Adsense 4.7.
