sylvain_a CreditAttribution: sylvain_a commentedHello Ariane,
If you are willing to create the section and pages, I'd be willing to contribute a draft to get this rolling. I'm assuming the original maintainers will jump in at one point if something is already in place.
Suggestion:
1) Create "Core Themes" as a children page from http://drupal.org/documentation/theme. It could be good to make it appear before "Contributed Themes"
2) Create "Bartik", "Seven" and "Stark" children pages beneath.
These pages should only contain factual information like regions, theme settings, or information that would appear in "README.txt" files.
Ironically, for Bartik, the README file was removed because people assumed it was already available on d.o. (reference)
(While we're at it, if you feel this is useful at the moment, I would consider making it an informal "Request to be a documentation admin".)

arianek CreditAttribution: arianek commentedIndeed - Sylvain, do you not have access to the "add a child page" link? It's been a while since I had regular auth user perms, but I thought anyone could do that...
If you want to post the links for the new pages, I'm happy to alias them with some nice /documentation/themes/[theme-name] urls

Carolyn CreditAttribution: Carolyn commentedhttp://drupal.org/node/1099422 - core themes
http://drupal.org/node/1099438 - bartik
http://drupal.org/node/1099450 - seven
http://drupal.org/node/1099464 - stark
http://drupal.org/node/1099466 - garland

arianek CreditAttribution: arianek commentedCool - I've updated URL aliases for all but garland (I wasn't sure if there are other docs buried somewhere for Garland, we should make sure not first). I also added links to the project pages at the starts of each and filed issues with each of those 3 projects to get the docs page linked to from their project pages (the individual projects are still used to maintain the D6 versions/backports of each).

Is it safe to assume that we can close this issue?
