I just installed node_import on a 4.4.0 install and gave Admins permission to access this module:

1. The navigation menu link has appeared but the path is wrong, ie. no path alias created for the function.

2. Link to node_import does not appear in Modules menu. Config can be accessed however using admin/system/modules/node_import.

Configuration menu has no user definable options. Just two buttons: save config and restore defaults. What options should be available?

3. Saving configurations gives this error: warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in modules/system.module on line 343. Probably because there were empty config options that could not be configured. restoring to default gives the same error.

Please assist. I NEED this module to work. Thanks...

This sounds like a really useful module for many but it does not work like described in previous post, however no one replies to that topic.
Is no one else using this module? Anyone had luck getting it to work? Or is it only him and me who are doing something wrong?

Here is a patch that makes it work on 4.4. It doesn't change as much as it looks, an indentation change happened.
