When someone reuses a link, could it redirect to the action path given anyway instead of just saying - "You are already authenticated?"

Yes probably. I've made a quick change to the module based on your idea and commited it to CVS. It should appear in a dev snapshot on the project page later today. If the changes are suitable I will release a new version.
