I've installed and reinstalled and permissions are all set. I've followed instructions exactly with setting up templates but I can't get any activities to show. Furthermore, even going to the view path directly shows no activities at all.

Scott Reynolds commentedWhat is your View?
apmsooner commentedJust accessed the view provided by activities with path of activity/all. I didn't modify the view at all. I can't view activities as even admin. What I did to test out was created a template assigned to custom content type:photo. I configured the message to trigger when node:photo is deleted. I put in a message for both author and public and nothing happens.

apmsooner commentedAlso for reference, I've tested on multiple themes including Garland. I do have notifications, messaging framework and private messaging enabled if you think there could be any conflict there.

apmsooner commentedOne more issue...
I get the following error messages when enabling activity comments in modules:
* warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/alinkapa/public_html/includes/common.inc on line 3328.
* warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/alinkapa/public_html/includes/common.inc on line 3249.
Separately, this error occurs if go straight to actions page and click configure on the action that was created:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function activity_record_form() in /home/alinkapa/public_html/modules/system/system.module on line 1501
I have activity module installed in sites/all/modules.

Scott Reynolds commentedI do not believe node deletion will work.
apmsooner commentedI've tried node edit and update as well with no luck.

rjbrown99 commentedapmsooner: Is this still an issue for you? If not, can we move the status to closed?
apmsooner commentedThat was well over a year ago so... have to say no as i must have moved on with another solution. Thanks though.
