Just want to ask how this module is different from the Embedded Media CCK field module. The Embedded Media CCK field module offers Vimeo support. Just curious as to whether or not this module offers any features above and beyond the Embedded Media field module and if there are any advantages or disadvantages on way or the other?
thanks!

Wimmmmm commentedI'm fan already to have an easy Vimeo integration - but nruests question is very valid: can you make it into Embedded Media CCK?

jdelaune commentedI haven't used Embedded Media CCK for ages, so I don't know what it offers. I'm making this for a project I'm working on so I'm not too bothered if people use it or not. What will this module offer?
Inline browser where you can browse thumbnails of videos. Grouped by users, groups & channels. Once you see the video you want to embed in your site you just click on it and the rest is done for you.
Might add more advanced features in the future like ability to change embed settings per CCK widget or formatter, and restrict what videos users can see.

prabhakarsun commentedWill it support domain level privacy available in vimeo plus?

jdelaune commentedAny settings like domain level privacy you set in vimeo plus should carry through. I don't have vimeo plus so it might be something you have to test, but I can't see why it wouldn't.

jdelaune commentedHere's a preview of what it looks like so far. Sorry about the watermark. Haven't used screenflow since installing snow leopard and I'm not sure what I did with my code.
Shows basic functionality but there are some more features I want to add before an alpha release. Plus there are admin features which weren't shown in this video.

jdelaune commentedWith a dev release just around the corner and demo site created I'm marking this topic as closed.
