Minor thing really, but I'm curious:

function phptemplate_breadcrumb($breadcrumb) {
  if (!empty($breadcrumb)) {
// uncomment the next line to enable current page in the breadcrumb trail
    $breadcrumb[] = drupal_get_title();
    return '<div class="breadcrumb">'. implode(' » ', $breadcrumb) .'</div>';
  }
}

From template.tpl ..sure enough I see a breadcrumb for the current page, but it has no link ? Any ideas?

My first guess would be that perhaps your styling hides links for the current page.

This function is something that was picked up from the API I believe. I'm not quite sure why you would want to link to the current page. I'm sure this is how the function was made, rather than a bug.
