I don't understand the difference or purpose of each of the blocks that this module creates, specially between "suggestions from voting history", "similar items by votes" and "suggestions from similar users"

Could you provide some information on this, please?

the two "suggestions from ..." blocks provide personalized recommendations only for that specific user based on his/her preference. the "simiar items ..." block is the same for one item for all users.
