Now that l10n_project is the module used on drupal.org (instead of the originally planned l10n_drupalorg connector) and the project listing XML files on drupal.org proved to be enormous to parse for project discovery I think it is time to retire l10n_drupalorg.

If people want to maintain it, a separate project can be set up. This module suite has lots of code in itself to maintain and this submodule is in the least maintained corner.

I'm submitting this issue for posterity and removing the submodule with reference to this issue.
