Sign up closed automaically.

It only closes when

1) The date limit crossed.
2) Manually closed signup.
3) Limit for signup user crossed.

None of the above is reached still it closes.

None of the above limits crossed even though signup for one of node type closed.

When you manually open the signup it will keep the signup opened for some duration then it closed automatically.

Signup works very reliably for me. Have you tried running signup with a clean install of drupal, and then gradually adding other modules until you find a conflict?

Can you figure out what event is triggering the close?
