PHP 5.2.0: Fatal error: Call to undefined function sys_get_temp_dir() in drush_make.utilities.inc on line 212

As this function is only available since PHP 5.2.1, could we integrate a workaround like this one?

Here a patch that adds a sys_get_temp_dir() function if it doesn't exist. The function is based on the ones provided detailed in the comments section of http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.sys-get-temp-dir.php

With this patch drush_make is working nicely for me on RHEL5 with it's extremely ancient version of php... 5.1.6 (when is redhat going to do the decent thing and upgrade it's version of php???)
