Going to http://motherjones.com/arts/index.html redirects to the homepage (it is supposed to go to "media")
Going to http://motherjones.com/biz-stone redirects as intended

Any ideas? This happens across all of our redirects.

You might have a server URL rewrite rule interferring with it. I was able to create a redirect from: arts/index.html to: media on my local install just fine.
