The module I would like to submit is called inline AJAX search. This module makes it possible for visitors of a drupal website to search content via AJAX. This module works together with Lucene API to search with the help of wildcards. A demonstration of this module is viewable at this url: http://87.212.64.174/huttenbouw and the code itself can be downloaded here: http://drupal.dev-test.nl/inline_ajax_search.zip.

The best search results are show when you search for page or pagus, or parts of that word. The minimum length of the word to search on is set to the amount of characters set in the search module that a word must have to add it to the search index. There is also a configuration page where you can specify how many results are shown. Future options will be a loader image, the option to specify weither or not to show the more search results link and translations for other languages.

There is already a module for AJAX search that is included into JSTools. Did you offer to the current maintainer of JSTools to become co-maintainer to port the module to Drupal 6?

Hmm, no I didn't. I haven't found this module. I will contact nedjo about that

I have checked with nedjo. He didn't continue the ajax module for himself because of some restrictions he found in drupal itself. Because my module depends on the Search Lucene API I think this module is better of as a standalone, in stead of being a submodule of jstools.
