Hi,
as I'm German I have a system how to name my pictures :))

I dont like the way IMCE names the resized pictures. How can I adapt the name. For thumbnail I can do it easily in the settings.

IMCE uses drupal's file_create_filename() function which adds the numeric suffixes. It's hardcoded and not possible to override unless you have a custom module introducing rename functionality to IMCE.

You may try increasing thumbnail alternatives.
