I just installed version 6.x-1.3 partly, that is copied the new module over the old. On status page it doesn't complain. I think it should though, since i did not yet install the getid3 in the new location. Would be helpful to have a check to be sure it works.

mokko CreditAttribution: mokko commentedactually, the status page shows the old version of getid3. In my case this is 1.7.7. This is very helpful! It shows that the old location is still accepted. This might or might not be a good policy.
Aha, I need to change the path on settings page (/admin/settings/getid3). This is easy and intuitively enough, but maybe it should be mentioned in the readme.txt.

drewish CreditAttribution: drewish commentedi think it's actually distinct since it's related to the new path. we should advise people to move the library and update the setting.

There seems to be contradicting information here and the latest release version.
