What is the best way to migrate from using filefiled + jquery media to videofield? <title correction><eom>

Hi,

What is the best way to migrate from using filefiled + jquery media to videofield?
both are filefields so they are envoked by jquery media filefield a class.

I tried simply changing the widget from file uplaod to video upload. It sorta works. But still envokes jquery media ofcourse. Upon uninstalling jquery media, videofield does't trigger flowplayer.

a fresh, new videofield works just fine. An easy way to migrate the videofilefield to videofield? or simply migrating one field to another fresh videofield?

I was thinking using convert module to a totally new content type.....

anythoughts? We have over 100 videos.
