merlinofchaos commentedWell, I can't duplicate this -- the mission seems to work just fine for me. If using an older version of CTools (1.0 or older) it would be broken, I think, but in 1.2 (which you should be using if you have Panels 3.2) it works just fine.
I have no explanation for why it fails for you.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedI've had exactly the same problem when using Panels 6.x-3.2 and CTools 6.x-1.2. Like scsmith, the mission statement is shown properly when shown directly through the theme
(in my case - Fusion Starter Theme), but displays nothing when added as a panel.

chandrabhan commentedSame problem here too. Both the modules are uptodate but still I dont see the mission statement.
Anonymous (not verified) commentedSome extra detail. The panels layout I am using is "two column bricks". I have also tried adding the site slogan instead of the mission and it too is not displayed.
chandrabhan commentedIs there anyway to figure out where the issue is?
Branjawn commentedSame here. I just updated to Panels 3 and latest Chaos Tools and mission is gone. The panel that once had it now says "deleted/missing content type". I deleted that panel so I could just re-add it, but that piece of info is nowhere to be found now.

Branjawn commentedJust to clarify, I'm using CT 6.x-1.3 and Panels 6.x-3.3
Comment #8
merlinofchaos commentedAnyone still seeing this problem? I still cannot make this happen.
Branjawn commentedSo long ago, I don't even remember which site it was for. Oh well, I guess if I forgot it wasn't a big deal or I found a workaround.

Letharion commentedBecause the issue queue has a great number of open issues, and there are few volunteers to tend them, I must prune old issues that are left untouched for a long time.
This issue has been marked "Postponed, needs info" for a long period, and is therefore closed. If this issue is still relevant to you, please feel free to re-open it.

amaisano commentedMake sure "Mission Statement" is enabled in your active theme settings (the checkbox for Mission). I realized if it's not enabled Panels can select it, but not render it.
