I know that there is another issue regarding this, but it had been closed. The problem still exists that if an imagefield is set to required on registration it is in fact not required. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? Thank you.

As fields on the registration form are noted in the README of being not supported, this is for sure not critical.

This is the same issue as #451654: Filefield upload during registration. Imagefield uses filefield's code to do the #required check.

I've got this working and am going to try to submit a patch for this this weekend. I've never created a patch before so assuming that all I need is to follow the directions here: http://drupal.org/patch/create and submit it as an attachment to a reply here there shouldn't be a problem. If there's anything else I need to know about submitting patches please let me know.
