One of my websites uses Acquia Marina with a block in the "Sidebar last" region.

This block is a list of links to external websites.

Each link is entered as follow:

<a href="http://www.example.com" target="_blank">Example</a>

With the "Full HTML" input format enabled and selected.

It works fine with IE8 but, strangely, in Firefox or Google Chrome (I haven't checked Safari yet), even though they appear in blue as any other link with this theme, nothing happens when cursor is hovering over them and they are not clickable.

In any other region of the theme, all the links work fine whatever the browser.

Anyone has an idea on what's going on? Unfortunately, the site is in off line mode for now, but I can give a temporary login and password to anyone who wants to have a look...

Thanks!

I emptied the block and rewrote everything in it...And it works in all browsers now.

I must have made a mistake in the HTML. Sorry about that.

I think I can close the issue, even though I have no idea why the links where working in IE and not in FF or Chrome...

Actually, the problem is not solved. I can now describe it more accurately:

On my front page, I have a block in the "Content Top" region in which I put the main content of my front page.
I now have 2 blocks in the "sidebar last" region. these 2 blocks contain external links.

The links in "sidebar last" region appear in blue like any other link but are not clickable as long as there is text on the same line in the "content top" region. Links in "sidebar last" below the last line of text in "content top" work fine!

When I remove almost all the text in "content top" and leave only one line, all the links in "sidebar last" work. When I put all my 3 paragraphs back in "content top", the problem is back, except for links below the last line of text which still work.

On other pages, I don't have any block in the "content top" region. I'm using regular nodes to write my content and the links in the same block in "sidebar last" region work perfectly, whatever the length of text in the main content area.

One more thing: the problem occurs in Firefox, Chrome and Safari but not in IE. In IE, links work well on the front page...

I'm still trying to figure out what can cause this...In the mean time, if anyone has an idea...

Thanks,
Thierry

Sorry for the delay...Was out for 2 weeks.
Problem is solved with Acquia Marina 2.0.
Never solved it with 1.9 but I guess we don't care anymore...

Hello, I just wanted to let it be known that I am having this same problem with the new version of Acquia Marina with the Fusion Core.
I switched themes.

Hi soundmanbrad, can you please provide us with a link to your site so I can see it in action and help solve this issue? Or a screenshot of the HTML output might help as well.

I am having a similar problem with the Wilderness theme in FF and Chrome. I am currently working off a local server so I don't have a way to provide a link to my site. Can anyone provide information?

I have the same issue on my Drupal site in various areas including the Forums module. Links and text boxes don't respond in Chrome and Firefox but are fine in IE. This has been frustrating me for a long time. How does one diagnose this?

My website is at http://GregSwaim.com and I'm having the same issues. I have a link at the top of the right where I link to our online audio, and then have eight links below for sponsors.

In Explorer they all work just fine, but in Firefox and Chrome they all don't work and the sponsor ads don't line up properly.

Any ideas?

Looks like Wilderness became an outlet for "not click-able" kind of bugs.
gswaim1962 not using Wilderness on his site
Tilt_11 describing the issue for Aquia Marina and not for Wilderness
Stevens cannot provide insight
etc
