After installation of Gallery Assist and uploading Litebox, Thickbox and Lightbox2, I can select and activate 1 of them in Gallery Assist Extra panel.
After selection and activating, no specific paramater options appear for either of them, nor do the boxes show up when clicking on an image in my gallery. Instead, the image is still shown as before, with the forward/backward selections as if the lighbox is not being activated.
Reinstalled the 3 gallery assist modules with the latest ones from github, without any change.
Drupal is installed in domain/mysubdomain and in my site reporting log I found an access attempt that failed... http://www.mydomain/mysubdomain//sites/all/modules/gallery_assist/js/gal...
Checked and found that in the gallery_assist folder and there is no js subfolder...
Please give some help

Melmacian commentedI can confirm this. Lightbox2 or Prettybox amongst others does not work, but for example Lytebox works.

Marc Hoefman commentedSorry to come back late.
I tried with the latest version and the problem remained
- in EXTRAS of Gallery Assist, I can select Litebox. After saving the selection, no 'Litebox settings' are displayed.
- when I click on a picture in my gallery, nothing happens on the screen - the litebox does not appear
- in my Drupal log there is a PHP error indicated:
file_get_contents(sites/all/modules/gallery_assist/js/gallery_assist.js) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream File or folder does not exist in /home/parresia/public_html/parresia/includes/locale.inc on line 1689.
(parresia is a subdomain where Drupal is installed).

crosputni commentedSame problem. Only lytebox works for me.

whtcyphr commentedI got the pretty photo one working. i noticed in the screen-cast that the folder name used actually had a capital "P" in the folder name like this:
the correct way :: /gallery_assist_lightboxes/lightboxes/prettyPhoto
incorrect default :: /gallery_assist_lightboxes/lightboxes/prettyphoto
once i made this change i was able to go back to the 'extras' area and select "prettyPhoto". after you save, go back and make sure it's selected. It should show you the settings now.
I hope this helps anyone who is having issues. I figured I would share what i was able to figure out so far.

Marc Hoefman commentedInstalled the latest gallery_assist and gallery_assist_lightboxes from github.
Tested my Litebox and Lightbox and .... IT WORKS :-)
I think that gallery_assist, together with gallery_assist_lightboxes, provides the best solution for an image gallery in Drupal!
The gallery_assist_module gives me lightboxes in an integrated way, without having to look for other Drupal modules (and als having the burdon for keeping track of their updates)
So I really hope that the choosen path is kept!
Thanks for the execellent support.
