If an faq URL is accessed and you append any random letters, the FAQ is nevertheless shown. This causes duplicate content issues.

Please make sure that invalid faq URLs respond with http status code 404. I haven't found any call to drupal_not_found() in the faq_page() callback...

I also am experiencing this problem. There could be a Search Engine Optimization penalty for this, so it would be best to find a solution soon.
