fyi: i've been testing activity & heartbeat. i feel heartbeat works
more smoothly out of the box. for some reason activity wasnt
working properly for me.

depending on who you ask you'll get different answers. I'm going to try heartbeat, because estethically it fits better to my project, but i suppose i'll finally check both solutions.

i also prefer hearbeat because of their maintainig activity (4 Weeks ago 8 hours ago in front of 2 Days ago of last commit in heartbet).
