I made a big mistake of creating 40-years weekly event. Viewing the node, views, open for edit got very very slow. Then I made them 80-years and got sql query error with packet exceed max_allow_packet :))

Should there be warning about this? My views got extremely slow even with 10-years weekly date.

Unfortunately the Drupal 6 version of the Date module is no longer supported. That said, we appreciate that you took time to work on this issue. Should this request still be relevant for Drupal 7 please feel free to reopen it. Thank you.
