I want to use a CCK date field for events that mostly happen at 20:00 every tuesday, but can occasionally happen at another time.

It would be very useful to have a default value for the time, but not for the date.

Clarification:
I want to force people to purposefully choose a date, this is why I don't want a default value for date.

Unfortunately the Drupal 6 version of the Date module is no longer supported. That said, we appreciate that you took time to work on this issue. Should this request still be relevant for Drupal 7 please feel free to reopen it. Thank you.
