For some reason when I try to delete a variant I get the message This operation trail does not exist. If I try to disable I also get the message but it does disable the variant.

merlinofchaos commented3.0 has been out long enough that there is no value in reporting bugs against rc1. Please upgrade first.

merlinofchaos commentedAlso this is probably the same as http://drupal.org/node/569866 which is fixed in -dev.

merlinofchaos commentedFor whatever reason, the variant you were trying to create didn't get created. Did you have any errors in the watchdog log?

chrishavel commentedSame error under 3.3 when trying to add a user profile page variant in Drupal 6.16:
This operation trail does not exist.

headkit commentedDid you press the button "create variant" before you press "Update & Save"?

arcticexplorer commentedI was experimenting with Panels as a newbie, formatting a new front page. After I was finished, attempted to disable/delete panels on front page. Received a coding error and This operation trail does not exist. . Tried uninstalling panels to no avail. Solution was to go to configuration page - admin/config/system/site-information - and delete the url path in default front page field I had entered when I set up the panels. Simple fix for me now that I know it.
