The “Related Nodes” block does not appear for anonymous and authenticated users, only for the super administrator (user #1). I tried enabling everything that would require the block to appear but nothing. Moreover, the Recommendation module does not allow administrators to set permissions as shown in the attached file.

I don't know what happened exactly because my code works fine. However, I can give you some suggestions.

1) Try to uninstall the old code and re-install the latest code.
2) The module only works when there are more than one user (probably >10) using it. If you install the module on a test site where there's only the admin user, then it's not going to work.

Changing the status to 'fixed'. If the problem persists, please reopen it w/ more info.

I am using this on a site with 25+ users and can confirm that it only appears for someone with the administrator role. If I grant permissions to administer history_rec to authenticated/anonymous users, the block displays for them. But I don't want them to be able to administer the module - just to see the block.

Moreover, the Recommendation module does not allow administrators to set permissions as shown in the attached file.

I have the same problem.

I'm running the latest code too. Please let me know if you have any ideas. It's a neat module and would be cool to get working a bit better.

Update: the block is appearing now for authenticated users. It was not yesterday.

Why is that?

The problem is back again, and now the block is displaying for neither authenticated nor anonymous users. I haven't touched any of the settings.

I have the "drush recommender" command in my cron instance set to run each hour. Does this have some impact on how the Browsing History module works?

The block worked perfectly for me, and then suddenly disappeared - I guess this is the issue to re-open.

Should I be checking for something? I tried a reinstall of the recommender modules.
