I don't see much use for this.

I think it would require (relatively) too much code (e.g. you need a new menu item and code for a "are you sure" dialog) for very little gain and usefulness.

However, I was also thinking about an addon/submodule for CAPTCHA, called "CAPTCHA stats" for example, for some more advanced statistics about CAPTCHA's (e.g. the ratio of solved/unsolved challenges, counters per day etc). Your feature request would better fit in there than in the core module

was this feature ever added? I've tried disabling/re-enabling statistics and clearing the dblogs and the count still doesn't reset.

I'm using the latest 7.x released version
