I understand that currently annotations are visible only to explicitly permitted users. Is there any way to allow guests who are not logged in to see the annotations? It would be a useful way to provide general purpose editorial comments on a post?

You posted this on annotate_ed, but an anonymous user sees the text when you have locked the editorial annotation.

Did you mean annotate instead?

No, it was annotate_ed, but I think the problem was that the cached page hadn't refreshed, so the annotation wasn't appearing. Anyway, I'm OK now. Thanks.
