can this module be used to allow users to create sub-domains of their choice ? Also, would sub domains created using this module work with Aegir

When I made this module, one of the reasons was that I only needed to make sub domains from the command line in a simple fashion. So I don't really know about Aegir. You would have to ask the fine people making Aigir.

The densite module does not support this feature, but it should be possible to implement it.
