Apparent conflict with content profile

This modules appears to be interfering with the content profile's preview and save edits process or vice versa.

When I attempt to preview my edits ( only two buttons show: 'preview' 'delete') I get the following error:

This user already has a content profile of this type. You can only create one profile per user.

The look of the tabs also change. See attached screenshots.
