PreviousNext is a professional Drupal development firm and Acquia partner based in Sydney, Australia. We are active members of the local Drupal community and will be developing contributed themes and modules for which we will require a CVS account.

The first Drupal theme we’d like to contribute to Drupal.org is called “Polpo” (Italian for “Octopus”), and is a purpose-built Drupal 6 administration theme. We have developed this theme following consultation with our larger clients who have found other Drupal administration themes “clunky” and not on par with other CMS admin interfaces they’ve used in the past. We consider this theme will be a useful addition to any professional Drupal developers’ toolkits.

We designed Polpo to be a very clear and easy to user interface for Drupal content editors, and to allow for theme customisations so that the interface can be individually branded for a specific organisation. This includes features such as a customised logo and coloured header bar and a custom “Fast Tasks” block for quick access to frequently used tools.

The Polpo theme is dependent upon the “Color” (Core-optional) and “Administration Menu” (Contributed) modules to be fully customisable, but will be operational without them.
