I've set free-tag to read-only to an existing vocabulary. Wenn I type an existing term it is shown in the list an i can choose it but i get a suggestion for that existing term!?
Suggestions only make sense, if I type a non-existing term, do they?

fadgadget CreditAttribution: fadgadget commentedI think i have the same problem. If i have a term 'television' and synonyms of 'TV' and 'telly' if i add TV or telly as a tag then i get 'television'. I dont have any TV or telly tags.
I also have a tern 'fishing' it has subterm 'fishing chat'. I dont want folks to post in 'fishing' and have created a synonym for 'fishing' as being 'fishing chat'. If someone posts and adds the term 'fishing' i dont get 'fishing chat' as hoped but just the 'fishing' tag as normal.
I dont know if what i am after is outwith the scope of the module. Maybe i need something else.
Thanks
