Notify has been upgraded along with the rest of the site from D5 version to D6.

After the upgrade the Notify has been sending several duplicate notifications. I deactiviated the module after 12 identical notifications went out. I had even set the notify to not send out any notifications and the same notice was still out.

I have looked at the code and have no idea why it is doing this.

I did look for duplicate bug reports, did not find any, sorry if there are.

Hi i have same issue. i installed notify module and enabled. when any user post a new comment or new topic to a forum every user is receiving same mail several times. how can i fix this problem?

This might be a duplicate of #935458: $nodes array modified inappropriately by comment notification logic in _notify_send(). Please try the patch there, or wait for the new dev package (later today.)

Since there has been no complaints since 2010, it probably was a duplicate of #935458: $nodes array modified inappropriately by comment notification logic in _notify_send().
