Validation of this theme at http://d-theme.com/scaccarium shows the XHTML is good and there are one or two CSS issues.
Validation as CSS 3 produces one error and it is worth fixing.

URI : http://d-theme.com/sites/all/themes/scaccarium/scaccarium.css?f
691 table tbody tr.menu-disabled td Parse Error opacity=50)

Validation as the older CSS 2.1 produces two errors:

URI : http://d-theme.com/sites/all/themes/scaccarium/scaccarium.css?f
690 table tbody tr.menu-disabled td Property opacity doesn't exist in CSS level 2.1 but exists in [css3] : 0.5
691 table tbody tr.menu-disabled td Parse Error opacity=50)

I have already sent a link onto a chess nut with a Web site.

Thanks for that peterx.
I actually already did a validation myself, so knew about the CSS issue. I'm going to leave it as is though, it's not a major issue.

That's a great site you've got there, showed me a few design issues I hadn't noticed before (like the links going behind the chess image). I'll make sure I fix those, thanks!

Commited fix that prevents primary links appearing behind chess pieces image.
