White screen -with Mimemail [#524666]

After installing the 6.x dev on D6.13 i did a system email to problematic user email and worked!!! site seemed to be working fine.
Unfortunately when I activated Mimemail dev version 6.x 1.x it took out the whole site where Mimemail worked when returnpath wasnt installed. Deleting the module from the directory fixed the blank screen issue and site comes back up.
I see at least one other may have it working together as per http://drupal.org/node/107170 which i'm yet to test that fix.
But I don't know why they wont work together any suggestions?
Possibly a conflict with other modules?

StephenFresh: This was closed as "fixed", but no comments were provided as far as what fixed it. Can you tell us how you fixed it?

My apologies dmetzcher I closed this off as I didn't expect an answer, I should have just left it open as I do now.
I didn't get a fix I have just avoided using the module combination and as that combo was a test site I haven't needed to use any other method.
Sorry I'm no help to others who may have experienced the issue.
