I added a view containing an HTML button generated by the customfield cck module. I am not getting any output from the customfield to my panel. It appears like the the customfield is being ignored by the panel module.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

BTW: this view works perfectly as a node

I think I'd need to know more about this; exactly which panes you're using, how they're configured. Maybe an export of the view and an export of the panel. And what the HTML is that's getting lost.

I am not sure why this happened but it now works. I deleted the panel pane and inserted the same view back into the panel everything now works.

I have done some more digging. This isn't a "panel" problem but a problem with views and view permissions.
