I am not entirely familiar with how drupaldocs.org is generated, but I was wondering what people thought of allowing pages in drupaldocs to have comments, similar to how php.net allows discussions on the usage of various functions to allow for better understanding of the language and usage.

Drupal docs is generated automatically. I do not know if comments are do-able.
