I click on Content Management >> Alfresco import
then I get a screen with a browse button
I click the browse button, choose a workspace, the browse window closes and I get an Alfresco address in the space reference field. What now?
If I click on the View Items button it will list the workspace items and an import button.
If click on the import button I get a message to choose an item, but no way to choose one.
Is it possible to show a whole Alfresco workspace in a Drupal node?
Is it possible to upload files to Alfresco from Drupal?
What's the use of this module if you have to work in both Alfresco and Drupal at the same time?

You must first select which items in the workspace to import, you can import all by clicking the checkbox in the header of the table.
It's not possible. This module can import Alfresco nodes and save them as Drupal nodes.
In the current version, that's not possible. I want to work in that direction, but lately I do not have much time.
Alfresco module is designed to expose the information stored in Alfresco repository on a Drupal site. A typical use case is a company that uses Alfresco to store their documents and they want to make visible some of these documents on a website with Drupal.

manolooo CreditAttribution: manolooo commentedThank's a lot smartinm, I'll keep testing your beautiful modules. Anyway I'd like to expose you my expectations in case it helps you in their future development.
I'm using Drupal as a sort of departmental intranet. In this department we have huge lots of documents, articles, news etc that have to be managed. Up to now I create drupal nodes that index these files and link to them with the filesystem and IMCE file uploader which is quite poor.
I'd like to be able to manage these with alfresco but always through drupal so the features I'd like with alfresco integration are:
being able to upload files to alfresco workspaces
being able to create alfresco workspaces (even if their properties are defined as standard in alfresco)
being able to map drupal nodes to alfresco workspaces so that their contents are dinamically shown and not on file by file basis
being able to search with alfresco indexed search through alfresco repository
I short to use alfresco only as administrative tool and use to it through drupal.
It looks like a long Santa's letter...

gauravkhambhala CreditAttribution: gauravkhambhala commentedKudos to smartinm for this beautiful module. And now we are at the stage where search alfresco documents needs to be done. We have created a webscript in alfresco which will search and return the workspace URL to drupal for given the search keywords. But then there are indexing issues as Drupal search works entirely on indexing nodes.
manolooo has also raised a set good features such as following:
Any updates on this feature requests? Any idea, integrating alfresco file search and drupal search integration?

search/alfresco
)
