I may be confused here as I haven't used the date picker popup for a few months but I thought it used to have a 'clear' link on it, which was useful. I don't see this on my latest updated installation of Drupal 6.11, latest dev of date, calendar and views. Has it been removed?

I'm not sure if it used to include this.
Might have been a change in the jquery ui codebase.

In any case, there has not been much support for this, so I'm going to mark this as won't fix.
If you or anyone else wishes, post a patch for review.
