I created a pane
It has "link display" to another page (why do I need this? Why should I like to page when I am creating a view pane)/
set Use panel path- either yes or no
I click on any link and it takes me to the view defined in link display

merlinofchaos commentedThis is actually a CTools issue. It may actually be a Views issue, need to see.
merlinofchaos commentedOk, this was indeed a CTools issue. I checked in a fix.

socialnicheguru commentedWhen I have an exposded filter for the view pane, it still links to the link display and not back to the panel.
kars-t commentedI tried the latest beta and the dev and both won't send the filter form back to the views page.
So I reset this issue to active.
If I print_r the form submit I can see that "inherit_panels_path] => 1" is set but I really don't know how this is given to Views and I can't find an override function.
Can I help out with any additional information?

sagannotcarl commentedI just tried setting this up on a clean site with the dev version of chaos tools (dated June 22nd) and am having the same problem. On submitting the form it loads the page version of the view no matter what the use panel path setting is.
I'm not sure what other info is useful but I'm happy to test anything.

merlinofchaos commentedOk, turns out inherit panel path wasn't being honored. Was a little tough to debug as people weren't being specific enough about which options they were setting.
socialnicheguru commentedthis seems to have fixed the issue with exposed filters in a different pane. GREAT!
