Limit widget hours: Start and end hours inconsistent with chosen format

I noticed when I edit the office_hours field in my location node type (admin/content/node-type/location/fields/field_hours) the display for 'Limit widget start hours' and 'Limit widget start hours' is inconsistent with my choice of 12/24 hour format.

If I set the field to the 12-hour format and save, when I edit again, start/end hours are shown in 24-hour format. Likewise, if I save the field in the 24-hour format, when I re-edit the field, I'm presented choices in 12-hour format with AM/PM added.
