Under LDAP Authentication Settings there exists an option to resolve Local and LDAP user conflicts. Regardless of setting, however, this conflict resolution is ignored.

In the event a conflict between Local and LDAP users:
On line 250 of the ldapauth_login_validate function (ldapauth.module) the ldapauth_ldap object is being unset - AND - on line 252 a return statement is issued, halting any further processing.

The issue: conflict resolution does not occur until line 283 of ldapauth.module. This line is never reached on account of the return statement on line 252. Thus, no resolution can be performed - and the end-user simply receives an "Unrecognized Username/Password" error.

Commenting out lines 250 and 252 result in proper (intended) functionality -- so far as I can see.
