Can this module when used with Views modules generate a map like the one I have attached

Yes it can. But currently it doesn't look like it supports different markers for different nodes/node types. But I'll start working on this, later on, as we need this for a client of mine.

It really looks nice and user friendly

Its amazing how Mapping just suddenly took a huge jump.

I can remember when we were just happy to have anything that looked like a map :-)
