Multiple import content types not detected

First of all let me see that this module has saved me a huge ginormous amount of time and I greatly appreciated it

Here's my issue: I have had a content type with an image field as per this Imagefield import message

"Will import images into content type 'singleimage', field 'field_singleimage'. To configure this visit the Imagefield import settings page. "

I created a new content type that nearly mirrors the singleimage content type and i've quadruple checked to ensure that I have an imagefield in there that's set exactly the same as field_singleimage except the name is different (content type 'privateimages' field 'field_privateimage'). It's set as a field/image under basic type.

For the life of me, I cannot get imagefield import to detect this second content type. Any hints on what I should be checking? I have checked permissions.
