Usability of permissions matrix - add role granularity

For the 7.x usability discussion:

On the Permissions page, I can look at a list of all the permissions mapped against all of the roles. I can also look at this page with just one role at a time.

But it would also be nice if I could look at roles of my choice on the permission page. Maybe a handy widget at the top of the page that would let me choose which roles appear on the grid. it would let admins compare specific roles a little easier.
