Is there code I can use to embed this in a custom node template? I have not been able to find it.

Hi Alan. I don't believe this is fully possible yet using the current version, but it's a good feature idea to get working in the next version. What are some other modules that do this well?

Version 2.4 supports a number of different placement options, including blocks and certain node types. If finer control is needed, one should just generate the code from http://www.addtoany.com/
