I think this would be difficult to reproduce, but I upgraded from rc2 to beta2 and began to receive spam.

I checked guest submission and it turned out that any answer to Text CAPTCHA questions would be correct and the node is submitted. Empty answer is, however, blocked by captcha. Cleaning cache didn't help.

So, had to rollback to rc2. That works fine.

I guess this is a duplicate of #367959: Captcha pass phrase response ignored on cached forms, which is already fixed in the dev snapshot
