hello
i use in my site the zen theme but it doesnt transllate the primary links.
i am thinking on changing the theme but it is difficult to find which themes work well unless i download and try.
maybe people could advice here or you could put it on the documentation.
thanks a lot for your module :)

I use the Transllation Table to transllate menus.
In the transllate interface, i have refresh cache of all the possibilities text groups and lenguages.
i have tried with other theme, Garland and i also get that problem.
The strange thing is that one of the menus get transllated.
This gave to me confusion and i thought that it was that Garland didn't work.
So, you are right and i must have incompatibilities.
Other strange thing is that if i use the transllation utilitie that lets you transllate on the page, the menu that gets transllated is abiable but the others no.
any idea? :)

candelas commentedAlso, if i look to the transllation page: Transllation interface
admin/build/translate
I get
Language Blocks Content type Menu Profile Built-in interface Taxonomy
Catalan 0/0 (0%) 0/35 (0%) 39/39 (100%) 0/0 (0%) 4474/8214 (54.47%) 7/11 (63.64%)
English (built-in) n/a n/a 29/39 (74.36%) n/a n/a 7/11 (63.64%)
French 0/0 (0%) 0/35 (0%) 22/39 (56.41%) 0/0 (0%) 5668/8214 (69%) 7/11 (63.64%)
Spanish 0/0 (0%) 0/35 (0%) 39/39 (100%) 0/0 (0%) 4073/8214 (49.59%) 7/11 (63.64%)
so it is transllated

when I said be more specific I meant that you should give us STEP by STEP instructions
we can follow and come to where you have your problem otherwise its all theory ...

candelas commented:)
i dont know what else i should say...
i installed multilingual and started to transllate.
whith the transllate table i transllate menus and taxonomy.
also i had the l10n_client-6.x-1.6 to be able to transllate at the same time that i navigate.
i realize that menus were not being transllated.
i have uninstalled the l10n_client-6.x-1.6 because i saw that the menus were not listed except for one (this gets transllated) but it has not effect.
i am looking around to see if other people has the same problem.
i show people that solve similar problems cleaning the cache but it didnt work for me.
what else should i tell?

giorgoskTHIS IS A STEP BY STEP EXAMPLE ANYONE CAN FOLLOW
follow it exactly as I describe and report if you get the same result (you should)
-----------------------------------------
here is what I did
Drupal 6.1 locale enabled
i18n 6.x-1.x-dev two language enabled en,el (Greek)
zen classic v 1.13 (by default menus display on the header with the blue buttons)
1.
create menu item
admin/build/menu-customize/primary-links/add
path: http://drupal.org
title: drupalEnglish
language : All
2.
visit secondary language page (localhost/el in my case)
I can see the menu item "drupalEnglish" on the header
3.
search for the "drupalEnglish"
admin/build/translate/search
and edit translation and put "drupalGreek" and save
4.
visit secondary language page (localhost/el in my case)
I can see the menu item "drupalGreek" this time
and the link goes to drupal.org

candelas commentedthanks for your pacience :)
it helped a lot :)
i have done all the above steps, and play a bit.
i have gone to the primary link. edit them and they had all languages selected.
then search for it in the transllation interface. It looks like transllated. just in case, i save it again.
nothing changed.
i came back and change to catalan, try again the transllation but didnt work.
then at the end i went back and changed to all languages.
the transllations were lost and when i made them again, the IT WORKED.
SO THANKS A LOT :)
should i report this in some place?
candelas commentedI have just realize that only editing the menu and saving with all languages (it had it already choosen) works as well :)
less work for anybody that will have this problem with menus already on other language.

giorgoskGlad I could help
the important thing here was to learn how to PROPERLY report your problem
so other people can help you ... if we don't understand you we can't help you ...
you want to report what ?
It was a support request that we fixed ... so just marking it as "fixed" would be just the thing to do.
