1. I've installed Gallery (installed clean urls and set 666 for Drupal .htaccess)
2. I'm going to /admin/settings/gallery to configure it.
3. Then I've got error on 'Gallery2 locations' (Step 2), so setting URL to '/gallery/' (which is correct, and gallery base to 'gallery') and 'Test location setttings.' and then its ok.
4. Then I've got on Step 4:
Warning on 'Clean URL / URL Rewrite'
and
Error on 'Initial User Synchronization'

Public path to your .htaccess file is set to: /
Filesystem path to your .htaccess file is set to: /home/sites/mysite/public_html/

Confirming via 'Configure URL Rewrite plugin' and it's going to step 3 asking me again for the location.
I've read instruction how to install the Gallery2, what am doing wrong?

I'm using Drupal 6.9 with Gallery 2.3.
Clean URLs on Drupal are working without problems and standalone Gallery (/galllery) is working fine.

I have the exact same error. I could not get it to work. Please let me know how you fixed it. I am using the same versions as yours.
