Where does user choose which info to import, and error importing facebook image

I think I must be missing something here. When I set everything up, I chose several categories that I wanted to include in the import from Facebook. But those items do not appear anywhere when I'm setting up my account to link to facebook, and there is a box that says "This information is displayed on my profile." - but nothing is listed. Is there a step I'm missing?

Also - I check off "Use my Facebook picture on this website" but just get an "Error importing from facebook" message - no picture is imported.
